Idli Ingredients

  • 2 cup- Rice
  • 1 cup- Urad daal (white)
  • 1 ½ tbsp- Salt
  • Oil (for greasing)
  • A pinch of baking soda

Preparation Method for Idli Recipe

Wash the daal and drench it for 8 hours overnight. Presently wash the rice and deplete the water. In a processor, granulate the rice coarsely and keep it aside. Following 8 hours, granulate the daal into a fine foamy glue. After this, blend the ground rice and daal hitter together.

Blend some salt in the above player and put it aside for 7 hours overnight in a warm place. Permit it get matured. Meanwhile, oil the idli holder with oil and fill each container with the hitter.
