- 2 cup- Rice
- 1 cup- Urad daal (white)
- 1 ½ tbsp- Salt
- Oil (for greasing)
- A pinch of baking soda
Preparation Method for Idli Recipe
Wash the daal and drench it for 8 hours overnight. Presently wash the rice and deplete the water. In a processor, granulate the rice coarsely and keep it aside. Following 8 hours, granulate the daal into a fine foamy glue. After this, blend the ground rice and daal hitter together.
Blend some salt in the above player and put it aside for 7 hours overnight in a warm place. Permit it get matured. Meanwhile, oil the idli holder with oil and fill each container with the hitter. Do make sure to put ¾ on the grounds that when it is steamed, it puffs up. Steam it for 10 minutes on low fire. When prepared evacuate it with a margarine cut
Your idli is prepared. Serve it with hot sambar and chutney. Cooking idli is simple yet the main thing that is tedious is the aging. Since scarcely any oil and flavors are utilized, it makes it a perfect south Indian delicacy.
