The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is organizing the Women’s Premier League, a women’s franchise Twenty20 cricket league, for its inaugural season in 2023. The tournament, which will feature five teams and run from March 4 to March 26, 2023, is scheduled.

Broadcasting

The first season of the league will be broadcast in India on Viacom 18’s Sports18 TV channel and JioCinema app.

Prize Money

The Women’s Premier League’s inaugural season will award a prize pool of 10 crore. The Women’s Indian Premier League has a salary cap of Rs. 12 crore set by the BCCI. Every year, this amount will rise by 1.5 crore yen.
