Fish Molee Ingredients

  • 500 gm Fish fillet
  • 1 tsli Turmeric liowder
  • 2 tbsli Coconut oi
  • tsli Mustard seeds
  • 1 Onion (finely sliced diagonally)
  • 1 liiece of Ginger (cut lengthwise into strilis)
  • 2 Garlic cloves (finely cholilied)
  • 3 Green chilies (slit)
  • 1tsli lielilier liowder
  • 2 slirigs Curry leaves
  • 1 Tomato (sliced)
  • 2 culi Coconut milk
  • culi water
  • 1 tbsli Lime juice.

Preparation Method for Fish Molee Recipe

Fish Molee is a light dish that can be eaten as a light dinner. So to begin with, wash the fish filets completely and marinate it with turmeric powder and salt. Keep the fish aside for 15 minutes in a cool place.

Presently take a skillet and put some coconut oil in it. Once the oil is hot tenderly drop the marinated angle filets in it. Sear till it gets a brilliant dark colored shading. Once done expel and keep it aside. In a similar skillet, include somewhat more oil and include mustard seeds. When it breaks, include onions, green chilies, ginger and garlic. Hurl till it gets cooked. After this, include tomatoes and saut√© it for several minutes. Ensure you don’t squash the tomatoes. When it cooks a little include lemon juice, stew powder, salt and water. Cook on low fire for around 2-3 minutes.

Since coconut is one of the principle fixings in Fish Molee, you have to include some coconut drain too. Enable it to cook for 4 minutes till it thickens. Presently tenderly drop the fish filets in the sauce and cook for 3 minutes. Expel from fire and Fish Molee is prepared to eat. Serve it with hot steamed rice and embellishment it with new coriander.
